What does everyone think of the game "Battlefield 1942"? its a real comic book yarn of a game but it's faily fun, in my opinion.

Well, its ok, but most people like FPS's better. B1942 isn't really realistic in my view.

I love BF 1942. I have played but I do not own it yet. I just ordered it along with 3 expansion packs. Graphics could be better, along with using more real gun names.

BF1942 is decent, but a little dated as far as the graphics go. I recently picked up (remembering all the hype about it when it first came out) for about $20 which included the three expansions. Nothing special if you ask me, i'd play COD any day. Speaking of which, i need to install that game onto this computer so i can keep playing.

And COD (for the PC) rocks COD2 any day too.

yes, i bought the just the plain origional game back when it was $50 , and the expansions which were about $25, great game, but the population has dwindled over the years, and i love BF2, i do not like what BF2142 is going to become, why dont they just make another mech assault? lol but both great games

If one day you hear a Stuka diving right upon your Sherman, that is me! Run for it!
Hehehehe, but it is not so east to blow up tanks with a Spitfire or a Messerschmitt, you need to practice. I almost mastered in flying. But I don't play it anymore. Had enough of WW2 games. Rainbow Six is my new favorite.

Actually I only had enough of games like Medal of Honor and Call of Duty. If not played in multiplayer mode they fell like pre-determined German hunt. With my desktop computer gone offline, I can't play online games.
The first opportunity I get, I will dive into the online gaming society again, probably one year later.

I love BF 1942! Just played it today with some of the guys! We aren't a "clan" or nothing, but we all usually take the the same weapons each time.

Example: I'm never without my Thompson, and my friend Blaise is never without his Rifles. I'm always the medic, he's always the engineer (that way if we are stranded or something, in a level (ex: shot down in the Battle Of Britain behind enemy lines) we can both heal ourselves and vehicles).

My friend Steven always takes the B.A.R. or the Sniper, depending on whichever we need more. We are almost never the Germans, mostly because the guns we love are all USA ones (meaning the Thompson (my one true love), and my friend Steven's precious BAR)

Of course, we play COD and whatnot, as well!

We aren't friends from the internet or nothing, we all go to the same highschool!
