Re: Screenshots!
I don't think there is a longer wakes mod running, I'm using 2.0 straight from download so I don't think there is anything extra on.
You'll be glad to know that in a spirit of defiance I decided to take a pot at the Hunt II who was after me, somehow hit him with my first torp. Buoyed up by this I decided to have a crack at the Flower, got her as well and so, feeling very smug I strolled back into the convoy, used my last three torps on 3 different ships and took out a few of the others (including a neutral one by accident, this is what happens when you leave your crew alone to gloat). 46000 tons that convoy got me!
Incidentally, have you discovered he shift-F2 trick which allows you to wander around your control room?
I also hadn't realised that your crew grow beards when you have been at sea a while, I was sure they were clean-shaven when I left port.

Re: Screenshots!
Yeah! I say we make a thread each for the popular games around here.
SU, MTW2 ect. Maybe even CFS. Or RO.

Re: Screenshots!
Not a bad idea Duce, a thread devoted to Richards glorious kills in the name of the fatherland and my rather dodgy antics trying to hide from destroyers.

Re: Screenshots!
Good luck, I have just been sunk by a Hunt 1 class, utterly useless and they still nailed me!

Re: Screenshots!
Here is some advice for GWX users in 1944 get a IXD2 and make a bolt for it down under.
Less aircraft to deal with.
The SH idea sounds good, will it be both SH3/4?
And CF sounds good as well.

Re: Screenshots!
This looks like one of those children games, I belive It's called "Battleships." Or something like that. You still have to say "Good-show" on the graphics.

Re: Screenshots!
Have you even played the game? The graphics are AMAZING! The water effect, the spray, the level of detail...you're quick to pass judgment on screenshots (which don't do the game justice).

Rubbish.
Indeed it's got better graphics but what did you expect? It's newer than SH3, SH4 got off to a bad start with all the problems and if it was not pressure from Subsims members along with others. Ubi would not had done much, what I mean is this, you would most likely got only two patches to the four which we have now.
Have you tried SH3/GWX 2.0?
Maybe in a few years we may get a super mod that will clear up all the errors and make the game more historical which I for one will be glad of. At the moment SH4 is good but there is no real challenge to the game, on the other hand GWX 2.0 has made SH3 more of a challenge. You tried staying alive for three patrols in 1944 while attacking a convoy?
At the moment I play more SH3 than SH4 and as I said looking forward to seeing a super mod that will make SH4 more historically accurate.
