IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
Anyone else have this game? I really suck at flying (can't take off or land) but i really want to learn how to do it. Might be all the different controls etc...

I think that is a add on, if so your need IL2 Forgotten Battles. I play IL2 but I find flying tricky at normal speed not to bad at half speed. IL2 has very nice graphics and computer friendly but I must admit I don't play it much.

Re: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
nope - not the addon. IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 is the complete set of all the IL-2 Games. Yes- graphics are mighty pretty! I just wish i was good enough at flying to want to play the game more and/or online.

Mussolini, I love that sim. I play it all the time. My fave plane has got to be the I-16 and the P-11.

Sure, Musso.
It's pretty easy after a little practice.

Re: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
I think one of my problems is that my joystick is slightly off (when its 'level' my plane goes up to the right)...after that issue, i think its the insane amount of controls that are different for every plane (and my lack of knowledge when it comes to planes)...

Re: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
Have you tried to calibrate your stick? It could also be torque that is causing this problem.

Re: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
Might be the torque then...anyway to counter this other then w. joystick? BTW, want to have a flying session (i have TeamSpeak, though my mic doesnt work for some reason) since it'd be easier to teach me how to fly using that then typing out commands while in flight. Auto-pilot makes it look so easy!
