I did a google and found freeware called triple a. It's an open source A&A clone.
It isn't perfect, but it is doable. Anyone up for a 5 man A&A game this weekend?

I'd love to, but I uninstalled it and lost the disk. Quite a good game actually, but not nearly as good as the one it made room for!

No disk required. you can DL it directly from the triple a site! I just tried it and it was kool.

I hear ya bud! My dl lasted less than 1 min, and in less than 5 minutes I was playing my first game. I know what I'm going to be doing all night......LOL |

I should point out: This isn't the 'official' Axis & Allies, instead it's a clone. Can play both the 1991 {classic} and 2004 {revised} maps. There are also several mods, scenarios, and whatnot I haven't even tried yet.
