Re: football !!
Ronaldinho scored and Inter lost 1-0. That´s something for Mourinho to think about...
Great game by Sevilla last night beating Atletico 0-1.
Also Klinsmann has a big match tomorrow, Champions league at home against Lyon. They had better stop losing games now...

Re: football !!
The Nigerian consortium looking to buy Newcastle have instructed Chris Nathaniel to look at managerial possibilities, including Kevin Keegan.
Nathaniel, chief executive of NVA Management, has been liaising with a group of entrepreneurs and an official bid was lodged for the club on Friday.
With owner Mike Ashley looking to sell the club, there was reported interest from South Africa over the weekend, with the Nigerian consortium insisting they will not be embroiled in a bidding war.
"We have put a bid in on Friday evening," Nathaniel told said.
"We are now looking at things around improving the football club in anticipation of hearing back from Newcastle positively.

Re: football !!
Inter Milan have laughed off Jose Mourinho's comments that he is being paid 11million euros a year by the Serie A giants.
During Tuesday's press conference ahead of the Champions League clash against Werder Bremen, Mourinho said his salary at Inter "is not nine (million euros), but 11 and with the sponsorship deal it goes up to 14".
But a statement made by the club on Wednesday read: "Internazionale wants to point out that those remarks were jokes between the coach and a journalist.
"Inter and Jose Mourinho want to clarify that none of the figures mentioned yesterday during the press conference correspond to the contract signed between the coach and the club, which is evidently much less."

Re: football !!
Ahhh...the famous kiss of death...
"Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists the club will not sack Jurgen Klinsmann, despite their poor start to the season."
---------
Wonder if we see the "old" Ronaldo in the Premier League...
"Brazilian forward Ronaldo will be fit to return in one month after recovering from a career-threatening knee injury sooner than anticipated."

Re: football !!
Ahh.that Mourinho...
Ex-Chelsea boss Mourinho makes new enemies after just two games at Inter | Mail Online
Mourinho, now in charge at Inter Milan, claimed after his team's 2-1 triumph over Catania at the weekend - his second Serie A clash at the helm - that he could have played in goal and Inter would still have won.
Lo Monaco responded by saying the Portuguese showed a 'lack of respect', was a 'chatterbox' and should keep his comments to himself.
Mourinho has retaliated, saying: "Monaco? I know Bayern Monaco (Munich), Monaco of Monte Carlo, the GP of Monaco...I don't know of any other.
'Lo Monaco has used my name to gain publicity. But I have sponsors who pay me to do publicity. Hence, if he wants, he should also pay me.'

Chelsea win 5-0 at boro to stay top with Liverpool coming back from behind again to beat Wigan 3-2 Kuyt scores two and that means they stay on the same points as the cockney legion but adrift on goal diff.

Re: football !!
Yeah, good showing my Arsenal. A little slow in 1st half, but they came alive in 2nd half with introduction of Walcott.
Also saw parts of the Fulham/Sunderland game...Sunderland got robbed of a win. The guy who takes their free-kicks hit the post 3 times on one freekick - beat the keeper, hit the right post, bounced on the goaline, hit the left post, bounced all the way back to the right side, hit the keeper in the leg, bounced back and hit the right post again, then the keeper picked it up! Simply amazing that it never went in. Then, later, another freekick, blistering pace, goal! No, apparently a team mate backed into the wall (since NO ONE ever does that) so it was disallowed. Then Cisse hit a volley shot off the crossbar.

Re: football !!
I heard its an 'on-loan' type thing? So much for the Beckham-Revolution in American Soccer ( ) what a farce!
Also, Arsenal were impressive last night in their 5 - 2 victory. 2 goals in the span of 60 seconds. Won despite three starting defenders being sidelined with Injury. First real glimpse of Ramsey (the Welsh 17 year old) who got to play the last 20 minutes of the game - very promising! - scored the 5th Goal in stoppage time with a great strike from 18 yds.

Re: football !!
Xabi Alonso's early goal gave Liverpool a 1-0 win at Chelsea on Sunday, finally ending the Blues' long unbeaten Premier League home record.
Wow!
