A fun championship is at an end, but the final was a bit of a let down. Germany signed off after 15 mins of play..

Germany was quite toothless after 15 mins, so Spain deserved to win. I recall that Germany had only one shot at goal during the whole game? You seldom win with that.
Spain was also a bit lucky as Silva headbutted a German player in the face ( Podolski). Lucky ecape. Straight after that Aragones took the man out of the game , I guess he feared the man was too "hot" in the field.
Great tournament all in all. If Italy -90 was the most boring ever, this definitely was one of the best!

Yes I saw Silva. The two men were facing each other like dogs and Silva went for it, but the ref did not see a thing.

Torres got a yellow card for violent behaviour though and Aragones took him out at the last moment too....
