I recently spotted these in a shopping mall modelling store and couldn't resist them. The fact that they had all been reduced to £2.99 each made it all the better. :)

They are all 1:144 scale and come pre-painted and decals applied.

Nice ones :D Had a ME BF 109 F 4 Maseile one but a small accident happened and it is broken :/ :( Is planning to get a new one later :)
Wish they made the same idea for the 1/72 scale series as well.

    Thanks, Ulrich.

There were a lot more in the store that were painted in other squadron colour schemes. This made it a lot harder for me to decide which ones to go for.

JD, When I was a kid I used to make a lot of models and some met an untimely ending after being accidentally dropped.

Some even crashed and burned after 'flying' out of my bedroom window in flames! ;)

John, was there a P-61 Black Widow at the shop? I love them!

I didn't see one, they mainly had all the ones I have shown plus P-51 Mustangs and Me 109s.

A P-38 Lightning would have been nice.

Sad! Yes a p-38 would be great too! Not only that it was an good aircraft, no it was the plane where Antoine de Saint-Exupèry died with.

Great find John which company makes them as I have a friend ( yes I really do! ) who has a model shop and wouldn't mind a couple for my son, I wonder if they do tanks as well!

Airfix make them and I made a mistake on the scale. They are actually 1:144 and not 1:100 as I previously stated.

Here's the box from one that my son bought.
