I do WW2 German reenacting and I needed a gas mask canister so I bought on from a fellow reenactor for $50 (£31.61) and when I got home I did a little research and found that it was from 1935. On the top it has a Luftwaffe stamp, the number 13 (painted), the name "Wolf", and something written in cursive. On the bottom it has a Waffen Amt Stamp with the date 1939. On the inside it has the makers mark (F.F.A.) and the date (1935) stamped into the medal on the spare glass holder. All together it is in very good shape and has very little rust. Heres some pictures,
