Gonna let someone else have the next question but I suggest someone make some rules for this particular quiz.

ARRRGH!!!!! At this rate we'll never guess which tank it is. But, I'm still gonna' make a final, desperate attempt to get it right. Is it the Covenator cruiser tank?

    Hang on...

A British cruiser, early war, but not armed with the 2pdr, 6pdr, 75mm or 77mm. The gun *might* be 94mm in calibre.

Cruiser A9 Mark I CS (with 3.7in gun)?

Well it's got to be one on the early cruisers, so anyone of the CS variants of the A9 A10 or A13 fit that description.

    Agreed.
How about no more than 1 question asked at a time, and nobody can ask 2 questions in a row?

    Blaster. No.

    Ricky. No.

    That was 18 & 19.

You can't ask a question for no 20, you have to make a guess.

(P.S. I agree, one question or guess at a time, and you can't post twice in a row. Seems like good sense to me).

If you can be arsed to study all my answers, and use them to narrow down the possibilities, you should still be able to get this one at the last attempt.

I got it down to these 3:
    Mark I CS
Tank, Cruiser, Mk IIA CS (A10 Mk IA CS)
    Mk IV CS

    Anyone come up with these?
I got question about rules, what happens when we go full 20 questions and no winnder?

Yes, It's one of those three!

    But which one?

If no winner after 20 questions?
Either the same person gets to ask another, or nominates a winner, perhaps the person whose questions have yielded the most informative answers.
    Just a suggestion.

Well it probably isn't the Mk1 CS (A9), that one seems to have an in service date of around '38, which David has told us he could not be sure if it was in service before 1st September 1939.

The Mk II (A10) entered service December 1939.

I can't find an in service date form the Mark IV CS...

If anyone has something that may narrow it down, now would be a good time.

The Mk.IV CS was produced as of early 1939 as far as I know. It served during WW2 but probably not before.

Two choices left... I can't find a good clue to either. All we know is that the gun is a 3.7inch howitzer, which they both have; that there are not five roadwheels on each side, which neither of them has; and that the tank served no earlier than the start of WW2, which they both did.

Cruiser Tank MkIV A13 C.S. Was the answer I was looking for.

Gunter probably earned the right to ask the next one, as some of his questions narrowed the field enormously.

Okey ty, I guess we can start. Althought I do feel a bit guilty for wasting 1 question. You can start asking whenever you want.
