351st Bomb Group aircraft approaching the field

    Hi, My interests are Glatton (USAAF 457th BG) and Polebrook (RAF 90 Squadron, USAAF 97th and 351st Bomb Groups).

    I've attached a photograph I have from an original which appears to show several of the aircraft returning to the airfield at Polebrook.

    I have lots of photographs and information to share with those similarly interested in the history of these airfields.

    Interesting photo - I drove past Glatton two weeks ago ; the old water tower still stands alongside the A1 main road but it's in very poor condition now and surely cannot survive much longer.....:(
