Username: A-58 Postmark: 8 August 2017 From: 77th Annual 2017 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Sturgis, South Dakota, USA A-58 sends us some Hugs & Kisses from Sturgis, South Dakota. I can't think of anything more heartwarming than a couple of amorous prairie dogs frolicking amongst a swirling mass of motorcycles and their leatherclad riders. Thanks A-58, another US state gets added to our map! Remember to check the WW2 Forums/Forces Postal Service Map for a look at our growing list of all WW2F/FPS submissions.
Oh, great. Prairie dog porn. Couldn't find any postcards featuring a Harley in Sturgis?? Seriously, glad you had a safe trip to SoDak. Haven't been to Sturgis myself. Probably something to do with not being a biker.
It was a great trip, 4,600 miles in all. Was gone for 15 days but it is good to be back home. If any of you people ride motorbikes, you need to put a trip to Sturgis on your bucket list. This was my 4th trip there. We take a different route there as much as possible there and back each time as to take in different sights along the way. Passed through Waterloo, Iowa and caught a glimpse of the Sullivan Brothers Museum as we sped by. It was late, around 9 in the PM so the place was long closed for the day. Next time I'll work that into the route home for sure.
