It's been a few weeks but it's about time this thread gets going again. :)

While James Callahan thought that he got away with planting beacons without the Germans knowing, Callahan's old rival had other plans.
He had found some of the beacons and cunningly had them guarded with his troops.
As the roar of the planes flying overhead them reached them on the ground, he gloatingly told Callahan about his plan.
Callahan was taken aback. It was a massacre in the making and he knew he had to do something to prevent it from happening. But as a prisoner, what could he do?

The noise of battle crept ever closer, and Schroeder's thug left the room. While Schroeder leaned in with his onion breath on Callahan's face, Callahan hatched a quick plan. Headbutting the thick German, James extended his leg, meaning to trip Schroeder as he recoiled backwards. Too bad he forgot that he had a bullet hole in his leg...

Just as he climbed through the hole he realised something....it was the fourth floor of the building! He tumbled straight into the outside Cesspool!
"Can't these Frenchies get some proper plumbing in?" He thought to himself.
As he crawled out, covered in excrement, the ground started shaking. He looked out into the bay and saw a whole regiments worth of PzKpfw IVs! He knew that the paratroopers would be landing soon, and without heavy weapons it would be even more of a massacre!
He crawled as fast as he could through the front door of the now ruined building, and started messing with the German radio. He knew that if the paras landed, they would be slaughtered. If he diverted them, Casablanca would fall. He radioed Gibraltar to tell them to abort-either way, this battle was lost. However, he got a shock when the guy at the other end told him to look out to sea...

What seemed like the entire Royal Navy was pounding the German fleet! Skaus flew overhead, bombing and strafing the panzers. 15" shells smashed into the arid ground, tearing apart trucks and tanks, not to mention German bodies!

Suddenly, James was wrenched backwards ferociously, right into the sneering face of Schroeder. The German's other hand held a Luger by the barrel, and it was wound up for a hit, which would land smack in the middle of Callahan's face.

Just then, a quiet whistling noise could be heard, and Schroeder looked up, just in time to catch the roof falling on his head. The falling body shielded Callahan from most of the rubble. Blearily looking around him, he cringed, once again seeing the Luger in the hand. However, the arm was no longer connected to the body.

"I'll need that," he muttered, and grabbed the bloody pistol from the useless hand.

Wiping off the blood, he crawled slowly out of the rubble, to find that Schroeder was desperately trying to extract himself from the the rubble.
"This is for what happened in Ceylon!" He Pointed the gun at the German's head, and pulled the trigger.
Just then, a Royal Air Force pilot who had recently crash landed, ran up to Callahan. "Eat knuckle, fritz!" and punched him in the face. James fell on the floor, and before the pilot could shoot him with his revolver, James shouted,
    "I'm not German!"
The pilot took a closer look, and noticed James was correct.
"Oh, sorry old chap! Don't see many Yanks 'round here! Anyway, do you know the way to the beach?" He grinned.
Callahan thumbed the way to the mass of ships down the road, and rubbed the large lump under his left eye wondering if the day could get any worse.

    Evidently it could.

As they were about to leave out into the street they heard a loud scream; Callahan though it was a shell but rather it was a furious German who hopped the fence.

He ran at breakneck speed towards them blazing an SS knife in his left hand and a knuckleduster in his right.

The Brit took a shot at him but he dodged it and then kicked the Webley out of his hand resulting in a bone breaking sound from his wrist.

"DAMMIT" the Brit screamed in agony.

This was all happening to fast; just after he hit the Pilot, the German kicked Callahan in the chest sending him back into the Brick of the the collapsed building.

The Pilot kept up though with him though, dodging swiped of the knife and knuckleduster.

Meanwhile Callahan took out his pistol wearily just as the knuckleduster cut into the Pilot's wounded arm which lead to blood smearing the wall behind him.

Callahan yelled "Catch!" and threw the pilot his Luger. But the German turned and caught it and was about to shoot the Brit when all of a sudden his head exploded.....

Instead of blood flying everywhere, as Callahan expected, pieces of smoking hot aluminum struck him in the head. The Brit was staring open-mouthed at the stump of the German's neck. Wires were sparking and shorted, and, yet, the German's body remained still. Gingerly, the Brit pulled the gun out of the limp hand, and aimed it at the body. When he pulled the trigger, he did not expect that the bullet would ricochet off of the metal, and hit him full in the stomach. As the Brit crumpled, Callahan wondered what new monstrosity the Germans had created. At least it explained the thing's skill at fighting. He sincerely hoped that it was the only one...

...and he awoke from his dream.
    :D
Nah, I wouldn't do that to you guys!

    __

But to his horror, it was not, a flash of steel caught his eye, and it seemed like a whole battalion of SS Cyborgs was marching towards him.
Cursing under his breath, he picked up the unconscious Pilot ran towards the beach where the Allied troops where coming ashore. However, there was still some German resistance. He could not stay where he is, or the SS Cyborgs would get him. The only option was to clear out the Machine Gun bunker holding up the allied advance.
Taking the Webley in his right hand and sliding the Luger into his belt, he carried the pilot to a small dune outside the bunker.
"Wait here" He told the pilot. He got a small murmur for a response.
He entered the bunker by the back door, and shot the two machine gunners with the Webley. Another German knocked him to the floor with his MP-40. As he was about to fill him with 9mm rounds, there was a click. The magazine was empty.
James quickly pointed the Webley at the German, and pulled the trigger. Another click.
He chucked the Webley away and pulled the Luger from his belt just as the German bulled out his P-38. There where two shots. James got hit in the shoulder and the German in the heart.
He dashed outside and picked up the pilot. By now the Cyborgs where close. Too close.
He ran past the empty bunker and came across Section of Canadians.
"Guys, you really don't want to go up there!" He said to them.
"Oh come on, whats the worst that could happen? We have the largest fleet in history and-"
The Canadian was cut off, literally. An SS knife had taken his head clean off.
The rest of the section returned fire with their rifles, but these Germans where much more than James and the Pilot had experienced earlier...

As one, they leaped fifty feet in the air, coming straight down into the open mouths of the stunned Canadians. Instead of pulling out weapons, their arms grossly mutated, revealing what it seemed to be a circle of MG42 barrels. They opened fire, ripping through the Canadian ranks.

As the Canadians took cover, Callahan noticed something. As the cyborgs kept up their intense rate of fire, their arms began to glow red hot with the heat from the machine guns. One by one, as they continued shooting, Callahan heard arms exploding. Obviously these cyborgs had not been tested.

However, they still posed a threat, even without their weapons. As James hid, he caught the sight of a Canadian flying down the street, with a hole in his body fitting the pattern of a mangled metal arm. They could not win this engagement.

Behind him, a radio crackled. "Tomahawk Six, Fire."

Callahan looked up into the sky to see three bright streaks, a medium size projectile that seemed to be propelling itself, like a rocket. However, they swooped through the sky, and flew with a confidence straight towards him. At the last minute, the fins on the side turned, and the first missile flew into the center of the SS ranks.

As pieces of men and metal flew everywhere around him, Callahan could only wonder, "Where had this all come from? The heavens? Or...The FUTURE?
