    Many thanks for the link. I was stationed in Giessen, Germany and heard rumors of an old airfield there. Now it's confirmed. Thanks again.

    hmmm.... didn't see that Brandenburger-Tor airstrip listed for Berlin, used in April 1945.... ;o)

    Wonderful data base, still a bit empty , but if they need info about old French airfields , I know the whereabouts of quite a few.

    urgh, great link. I have been slowly going through the list of bases, then finding them on Google Earth , many have photo links which allows more images but some such as Skipton does not. I kept trying street view but few if any have been recorded. have not been recorded. . Still fun to explore and still doing so.. Prior to this link I have just looked at UK bases.
