I'm getting into Airsoft after a few years of playing paintball(got old too quick). I'm really interested in finding Airsoft weapons based on WWII guns... I found some German Rifles, a Thompson, Colt .45, and a German Luger....but that's about it...Anyone know where I can find an M-1 Garand? I've seen one but the site was completely in Japanese and the Yen to US Dollars conversion was somewhere around $1,000. I've also seen MP-40 and 44's but they were either all sold out or in background pictures. Any help is appreciated.

    Hallo, Spitfire!

So, you are also from the crazy "paintball club"? That's nice! My best friend is addicted to it and he has stuck me into it. Even my 86-years-old grandfather played once with us and kicked our botts. I had forgotten he was a sniper.

But going to your question: I am really not sure about where can you get original hand guns, despite sites in internet, some military magazzines and organisations and auction houses. My grandfather bought nearly all his handgun collection this way. Hope this helps or at least provokes a smile... ;)

I think you may struggle a little to find MP40's, MP44's etc. I've checked out UK websites - nothing - and I subscribe to 'Gun Mart' Magazine over here. Again, plenty of airsoft weapons on offer but no WWII - they all seem to be H&Ks, M16s, etc.
