I've noticed KBO is now listed as a "Former Member", as much as I may not have agreed with everything he's said in the past (Far from it!), I did enjoy sparring with him on a couple of occasions, and personally found his input, if not perhaps unbiased, interesting.

Does anyone know the reason for his departure? I do not wish to tread on any moderator's/admin's toes here as I noticed that queries about Danyel's departure were locked, but it seems a shame that we've lost two of our more prolific posters.

    Don't worry, it's been done.

The admins here don't really like to do dirty laundry in public, however in the case of KBO (since so many people are asking) here's what Skua formulated as complaints about his behaviour.

It is hard to point out exactly where KBO makes his mistakes, except for point 2 which is recurrent and clear. However, few people here will deny having noticed all three of the above in KBO's posts at least once, and some will have seen them appear and reappear throughout his presence here. He hasn't changed his ways even though Skua and I have told him about them many times, and even suspended him twice over it.

His replies to these warnings from our side have always been of a tone which only reinforced our belief that some things he did weren't at all as unintentional as they seemed. He would try in every way possible to tell us that he didn't mean it that way, or that he would change his ways, and meanwhile he was completely unchangeable of opinion and of ways and methods, both of which were just marginally acceptable in the first place. At some point we have to draw the line.

Please note that banning decisions aren't open to debate. This is only a public explanation of what happened.
