    Hello,

Does anyone know any comprehensive source (encyclopedia, book or website) about WWII Western front, where I can find information about:
    • battles & battlefields,
    • maps,
    • the paths the allied troops have taken,
    • and the liberated cities
The purpose is to plan a series of trips to visit the traces of WWII.

    Any information is welcome.

"After The Battle" magazine and their books are always excellent sources. They match WW2 photos to modern locations, and have been around since the early 70s.

The Chronology in the CMH pubs follows the major units through Europe.
