Angus McCallum Forbes WW11 army No 6142818

Any information on Angus McCallum Forbes would be greatly appreciated. Angus told many stories about his time in the army, but I have been unable to varify any of them. Angus was surrounded by war hero's and never seemed to be able to compete, or stack up to any of them, so he turned to the bottle, but because of his drinking, the family say that all his war stories were just that, stories. It is my mission to find the truth, and hopefully find some truth to his stories, so we can put a better light on his life and hopefully install some pride in his families hearts. Angus's army number was supposed to be 6142818.
