Sure, I'll just start my Danish lessons by reading about Danish laws.

 

AS a fluent Dutch speaker Roel, you should find it easier than I.

 

It's a complete gathering of all the Danish laws still in effect today - such as law number 20001 (Lex Regia). This, amongst others, states that no Danish prince of the royal blood line may travel outside Denmark without previous permission from the King (which is interesting, as Denmark has no king, only a queen and a prince)...

 

Does it say anything about who he must obtain his permissions from to break the speed limits ?

About Danish etc:
Back in -91 I was visiting Denmark. It was quite easy to communicate people, almost everybody spoke better english than me. But there was something to avoid: Speaking swedish. Everytime someone of us spoke accidentally swedish, those danish just said: "Ah, du talar svenska!" (=Ah, you speak swedish!) and put that hot potato in their mouth and start speaking danish :x

Other thing that caused trouble was how those danish people from southern Denmark said numbers and prices etc at shops. They said them like in german:
21, twenty-one is said wrong way: one-and-twenty. (Wow, that was cheap ice cream... NOT!!)

It does say that only the King or persons appointed by him may sentence him - and since there's no king in Denmark...

At any rate, there is no evidence that Prince Joachim was driving too fast - there is only a statement from a so-called reporter from 'Local Eyes' (an anarchist newsgroup), who himself killed a child while driving too fast some years ago.

The thing is, all ye foreigners just say it the wrong way! You are right, German and Dutch are exeptions to the rule.
