    My uncle who died January 6 age 92. He was in the 82nd Airborne in WW2 and served as a surgical technician. Credited with Normandy, Rhineland, and Ardennes. View attachment 25628

    Interesting that all three brothers (including my father) had the middle name Anthony. That's my grandfather's name, and also my middle name.

    Armand said he took off in lots of planes, but rarely landed in one.

    Sorry to hear about losing your uncle Lou. Sharp looking fellow there! We're losing lots of the WW2 guys these days.

    Unfortunately, we lost touch with most of my father's family. Few stories that I remember from childhood.
