    Gents,

    I stumbled across this website about the (remnants of) the Atlantikwall. It has some history and a lot of pictures about the remnants of the wall in Western Europe. And a few interesting listings of LW radar and jagdleit stations, etc.

    for your scrutiny;

    has potemtial. Only problem is that once you get past the front page, its all in Dutch.
    And noticed something else. In the list of nations that it says the wall was built in, it includes England :confused:

    Eeh...sorry 'bout that...should have mentioned mayority was indeed in Dutch.(although, checking it again through the CONTENT section....) I was primarily looking at the pictures and the lists (which did confuse me just a bit, but then again, I am still a novice in atlantikwall and LW research).

    I must have read over the statement with regards to the atlantikwall being also in the UK....quite a 'cock up'...that's what it's called in the UK right!?

    Ye, thats right, a cock up. But the UK would be ok, as i think the Channel Islands were a part of the wall. But not England.

    I believe the story goes like this....

    A fieslor Storch lands at the airport with two officers and the pilot. No resistance met. The isle of Guernsey is taken.

    Hitler has his little piece of terre England
