Hi I've recently bought a WW2 Australian Royal Airforce group that consists of a Pacific star, 39-45 War medal, and the Australian war medal. The groups mounted on a bar, and doesn't appear to ever had 39-45 star with it. Can anyone give me any idea of a reason why he wasn't awarded a 39-45 star, i've been told that he may have been a P.O.W. Any help would be appreciated Regards Graham
