I'm not sure if there is a thread started for this mini-series elsewhere but I couldn't find it and thought we'd be remiss not to discuss this show. Has anyone else seen it? There are ten hour long episodes produced by HBO and the show details the 101st Airborne Division (United States). The soldiers in this group experienced an incredible amount of action in the European theater, landing behind the beaches on D-Day and fighting all the way to Hitler's Eagle's Nest. It's a great show for anyone interested in WWII.
Hello Reid, there is something in here about the B.O.B and yes your right it was a very good series, i will some day read the book to. :thumb:
I haven't seen it, but I'd like to check it out. Would you say it's pretty accurate historically? I know sometimes liberties are taken for the sake of making interesting stories in some film productions.
