Battlefield Detector Zone

    If any of you are involved in any type of battlefield metal detecting activities here in Europe or the Pacific area (or elsewhere), please post your finds for all to see and comment on. Especially helpful would be tips on cleaning and restoration, specific country's laws, detecting-in-general, persoanl accounts, etc.

    If it works (it's my first time to post a photo), you'll see one of my finds from today's outing in Eastern Slovak Republic. Because I live in Hungary, across the border, and do not speak the local tongue, I could not inform the authorities and therefore I had to rebury it where it was.

    hi drgeorge, yes there are many threads on this forum with miliaria findings, including metal detetors. We have a few detector specialist from Northhern Europe.

    The picture came out ok.
