I have a bayonet I found in the jungle off Tarague Beach on the island of Guam in 1959. My dad was stationed on Anderson AFB. Tried to add photos but it errored out saying to large The only markings are U.S on the sheath. The bayonet has
    OL
    UOS
    1943
    on one side and
    PAL-MOD on the other.
Any information on this will be greatly appreciated. I plan to pass this on to my grandson when he gets a little older.
    Thanks
