Does anyone know of any places in France that is still scarred from bombing or fighting in World War II? In particular, any evidence of the Allies or French Resistance preparations for D-Day.
I.e it might be a bomb crater left behind from a bomb dropped as part of the Transportation Plan

Blockhaus Eperlecque, and La Coupole, both former V2 sites near St Omer in the Pas de Calais Nord. Been to both a long time ago.
