    all i knew was that brazil was in the war, but I as well didnt know they had actual military involvement good find :)

    No, Brazil actually sent ground troops to Europe, the only South American nation to do so.

    The Brazilian navy was active in the interception of blockade runners and plane guard duties in the mid Atlantic.

    Was there any other troops contribution from south America ?
    I seems to remember that the Portuguese were on the allied side

    The Portugese were Friendly-Neutrals to the Allies, in any case for sake of clarification I'm sure you're aware Portugal isn't in South America.

    The Mexicans had sent pilots to the pacific, the "Aztec Eagles"... And (probably more importantly) replaced the jobs of many American soldiers who left the workforce to go and fight...
