    That is sad indeed. My grandpa's uncle had one of these. He used it for hunting. I have a picture of him from 1937 with that gun.

    That werewolf nonsense would most likely get a few Allied troops killed, more Werewolves, and the worst impact on German civilians and the prospects fro a lasting peace.

    The Western Allies occupied Germany for 4 years. In the minds of the officials destroying every gun in the country was better than having even 1 man not return home. I do have one account of a soldier describing laying long guns half on the street propped up against the curb and running a tank over them.
