44th annual Spring gathering of ex-military vehicles (MVs) and a militaria swap meet. Largest annual MV event in Western U.S. Located at 49er Village RV Resort and adjacent Amador County Fairgrounds in the old Gold Rush town of Plymouth, California. RV camping at 49er, tent camping at fairgrounds. No seller fee but sellers must rent a campsite or cabin. Anyone can sell parts or militaria at their site.

Free admission and parking, no MV registration. Tuesday is a set up day, Sunday is a pull-out day, not a show day. Parking and tent village accessed via fairgrounds gate at 18343 Empire Street. All MVs welcome, any condition or country of origin. Parking and display location for those commuting in MVs from home or hotel. Themed showcases will be Ford GTB Bomb Service and Cargo Trucks, and M151 MUTTs and Variants, both on Friday. On Thursday will be Barn Finds. There will again be a MV Poker Rally. See www.mvccnews.net for the activities schedule. See the link for the campsite reservation form. Soon our camping coordinator will give back any unreserved sites in our discount block in the RV Village. If that is the case just make the reservation with the 49er office. 209-245-6981. You will pay normal price but not have a 4 night minimum stay which is required for our group discount sites. Veterans, ask if they will offer a discount for vets. For tent or truck camping at the fairgrounds, send the form to Jo-Ann. Do so soon, we might be getting full there.

Amador County is a big winery area. There are dozens around Plymouth. The Highway 49 corridor is good for "old West" tourism and antique store shopping.

    Wow.

I would love to be several thousand miles closer to California.
