This cap badge is worn by one of my female relatives in a photograph. Can anyone identify it? She's wearing a big double breasted military coat, with same badge on sleeve. She's in a skirt and heels, not pants. I know one of them was in the navy during the war, and think this might be her, though so far, I haven't found a badge online that looks this.
    Thanks!

Context always helps. Please post the entire photo and specify which country's military she may have served in as well as the approximate year(s).

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I neglected to mention it's U.S., and the date is between 1941-1945 (based on US joining war in '41). And forgive me again, I don't post family pictures on the internet so please accept this picture of the coat. You can see the badge on the sleeve. There is nothing about the location that gives any military context, only family context.
    Any ideas on this?
    Thanks again!
