..at the Battle of Leyte Gulf, was Center Force getting low on AA ammo after Samar? how was ammo supply regarding being able to sink ships, blast invasion forces, and defend against the Taffys?
..I take it they had HE for the invasion area?
....could they get to the invasion area and blast away?
..or can you direct me to an existing thread on this?

Good question; they had also been under air attack for most of the previous day in the Sibuyan Sea.

...roger that...I did want to tie in the question with the AA ammo: since they did have a huge battle in the Sibuyan Sea, would ammo supply affect their AA defense if Samar lasted longer/etc? the Taffys were still attacking? how much of a difference would low/no ammo supply affect how much more significant damage could be done?
....were all 3 Taffys attacking them? I thought so

....actually--my original thought was all ammo and what kind of scenarios could there be if they tried to get to the invasion area
