Hello, I was looking at my Father's notice of separation document and I am trying to under stand what the abbreviation for his character of separation is.

    It has: RIP (HON)

Can someone help me understand the meaning of this?

He served in the war but then reinlisted into the naval reserves and 47 and I am trying to understand his separation paper.

    Thanks. 2017-10-01_1121.png

I don't know but I did find this: RIIP - Reserve Integrated Information Project. I'm guessing HON means honorable as in discharge.
