I could be wrong but I think the US has already stated invading Taiwan means war... It’s the ‘Poland’ if you like...
No. The US never has. We, the US, are required by law to provide Taiwan with the means to defend itself, but we are under no obligation to declare war if the Chinese invade Taiwan. It has been a long standing ambiguous policy on how the US would react to such an invasion. So, no, it is not "Poland" no matter how you look at it.
Neither. Special forces have too many targets to hit simultaneously. Tsunamis can produce many unintended consequences and can affect very large swaths of coastline - friendly an enemy. Stand off cruise missiles to crater the runways are the way to go. But, most of the intended targets lack the capability.
hahahhahahahahha...what? name the advantages I already named??? hahahahahah...you are double talking ..we did not use carriers in the Vietnam War???!!!!!!????!!! ...we did not use Amphibious assault ships??? USS Iwo Jima (LPH-2) etc etc how in the H can you say we did not have and use Naval Supremacy? explain that, please
Oh, yeah...The 11,000 helicopters...Half of which were lost https://www.vhpa.org/heliloss.pdf North Vietnam lost 2 helicopters I'm guessing you argue that Custer actually won Little Big Horn... In WW2 US Carriers sank the World's largest Battleships, Yamato & Musashi. In the Vietnam War the US carriers sank??? The World's smallest sampans? When did we Amphibiously assault North Vietnam? What did the US blue water navy really do in Vietnam that could bot have been done by other US forces? What North Vietnamese capital ships did they sink? Did the Navy stop shipping from coming into North Vietnam - not until very late in the game.
: ) We called them Yanks...Hehe... Who were we fighting again? HMAS HOBART Attacked Vietnam 1968 | GUN PLOT
you are babbling a lot stop the double talk...the blue water navy was used ..don't try to double talk/babble me ....carriers and Gator ships were used in the Vietnam War I see the problem = you don't know much about the Vietnam War...Gator ships were used = huge advantage/etc ..Gator ships reinforced/resupplied/med-evac ..they were used at Operation Buffalo--one of the biggest and deadliest ambushes involving the USMC etc Operation Deckhouse IV - Wikipedia https://www.marines.mil/Portals/1/Publications/U.S. Marines in Vietnam Fighting the North Vietnamese 1967 PCN 19000309000_4.pdf
Your the one double-talking. Now it is the blue water navy was "used." Oooooh, the blue water navy was "used"...What did the Blue Water navy accomplish in Vietnam? Carriers are blue water navy, Gator ships are brown water navy. I thought you could comprehend the difference...Apparently I was wrong. Yes, yes, Bronk, you don't know much a about the Vietnam War. We are not talking about Gator ships, that is the Brown Water navy...We are talking about the Blue Water Navy. I presumed this is more of your babble, now including moving the goal posts.
Taiwan will defend itself 'to the very last day' Taiwan vows to defend itself 'to the very last day' if China attacks
Yes they will. But for some reason China has always politically claimed Taiwan belongs to them. That is weird politics after all but I guess is in the same category as Russia and North Korea. The only truth is their truth.
We recently had a Chinese woman work here...quite beautiful and quite intelligent...She was adamant Taiwan was a part of China. It’s not just the Chinese politicians who want them to come home. Having said that correspondents have shown that half of China’s population has been brainwashed, the other half pretends to be.
China delivered 22.3 million tons of shipping in 2019 I'm guessing bottoms will not be a problem if China gets serious about invading anybody.
"Here" is 6000 miles of Pacific blue in between; I'm in America. If they want to get serious about invading us, they'll probably use bytes and bits, not human flotsam.
