What do you think of these two Comedy central shows?

I've despised them for years, yet, living in NYC (liberal cesspool), they are generally well liked.

Distortion and ridicule is their MO. I've watched them just enough to know that I cannot tolerate either one,

I'm not even a real conservative and I can't even stand the dishonesty, even in jest. In college everybody watches that crap, and it's nauseating.

Same here, I can't stand the guy or his show. I can't stand that gap-toothed david letterman either.

Im going to miss Jay Leno--at least he has class as letterman does not.

Putting Jay Leno and class in the same sentence is something of a danger :D

I like both of them btw... they are good entertaining shows.

    Cheers...

I watched Letterman when I was in college waaaaay back when, before I knew any better.

Nowadays, if, and that is a big if, I watch a late-night TV show, I'll watch Leno. At least he is genuinely polite to his guests that he disagrees with. Letterman needs slapping around a bit.

I've been watching The Daily Show long enough to remember the Craig Kilborn days. John Stewart is even funnier than Kilborn. Unfortunately, I've gotten so sick of all the ideology that I stopped watching. I can stomach Colbert a little better, but I don't usually bother.

I find Stewart a bit funnier than Kilborn as well, but I have no tolerance for Colbert. But, that said I rarely watch either anymore. I still switch over to Comedy Central for the stand-up on the week-ends though. There are a number of comedians I cannot stomach either, mostly those with no way (apparently) to be funny than to string together as many offensive words as possible. Not real humor, or even decent toliet humor, just crude, rude, and desparate.

I don't think anyone w/ a sane mind over here really hates OLDD but what I don't like about him is his lack of having execuative experiance.

Hi Urgh, one of the things I do like about him is that he is not a stupid man. This is one of the reasons why I will give him a chance to prove himself. I strongly disagree w/ picking billery as his Sec of State.

Yeah, but if she is out of the country you dont get to see her much...now you just need to improve the airport watch lists, and she might never get back in....The man has a plan...
