    Hello,

    Alsace is very grateful to her liberators. Many celebrations are held every year.
    Here are the videos of the 5th battlefield tour (May 2012)
    It's the commemoration of the liberation of the Northern Vosges (Wingen s/Moder - Phillipsbourg) by the 70th Infantry Division (Trailblazer) in January 1945.
    Reconstruction of a U.S. camp, preparing the convoy of vintage cars, ceremony at the monument of the 70th Infantry Division in Wingen sur Moder, passing through the Vosges forest.

    I don't know about those 'Americans', perhaps we should ask them who won the '43 World Series just to make sure :)

    Thats always a worry for any Brit serviceman...approaching a yank checkpoint..and being asked who won the superbowl 2 years ago...Its why when we fight alongside America... Brits are always issued with umberellas....Anyone carrying one especially in desert will be just another English guy...

    Those are good videos..You honour our Yank cousins well..
