Bravo Ron. You traveled some of the same rout as my father who was born in 1921. He was in the 1st Ranger Btn from Gela to Anzio and the FSSF after that. What caused me to check this DDay thread was seeing our local DDay vet on his walk around town this afternoon. He told me he went in on the 2nd wave.
