Siverous, you're right, I wouldn't be able to handle combat, thats why the Army has a training program at all. You went through training in order to go into combat and so will I, although, not soon enough. I am not trying to rag on you, I'm just saying that everyone who goes into combat needs training.

P.S. Are you in the U.S. Army?

Ah it's cool and yes you do need training, imagine it this way....every corner you turn could be your last, every door you walk through could be your last, thats what it is like in the field.

    And whats merlin on about?

the reason sixteen years old are dumb is because they believe thirty years old are smart

look at yourself in a mirror and repeat slowly

    " from now on , it's all downhill "

    ;)

Ahem... With all due respect and sarcasm,

    Bite me.

    said the 45-yr old....

You tell him, Tom! said the other 45 year old, who firmly believes (from personal experience) that youth is wasted on the young.

I'm probably going to regret asking this, but what on earth is a "yuff"?

It's so hard to get accents into typing.

Imagine a cockney type accent saying: Youths!

    Try 'yoofs' ;)

As a 26 year old, I fondly imagine that I am sitting in the happy area between 'young kid' and 'old fart' :D

16...or 26. Yes, I've got boots in my closet older than that. (If you have 54yr old long-johns, it's time to retire them, eh?)
    :D
As a 52yr old, I tell "youngsters" that would make fun of my age... "Wouldn't you like to know you'd live this long?"

Well, I am 18, and two years ago I was an admin here too!
