English or American battlejacket

I found at jacket in the local 2. hand shop. I think it´s a British battle jacket, but im not sure.

Does anyone have a good site where i can read about British and american uniforms?

When ever I find something I can't ID I usually try to find it on ebay. Not always right, exactly, but you can usually find a few examples.

If it's British, I seem to remember the inside having some tan cotton cloth lining here and there. There is usually a date stamped, with an emblem that has an arrow/arrowhead in a circle. US Ike jackets have a tag in one of the inside chest pockets that give a date, size, place of manufacture, etc.
