There is a second AT obstacle, just in front of the RB 612. I couldn't identify the type, this one doesn't look german to me, but the concrete seems to be the same as the one of the first obstacle, so I guess it's one more indication that the dragons teeth are of dutch origin.

Kazemat I lies on the north-western corner and was a machinegun bunker with crew quarters and one inside fighting compartment. Unfortunately it is closed off, like all the bunkers that are not part of the Museum.

Kazemat II lies just about 10 meters away from the Regelbau 612. It was an AT gun casemat, but as far as I know, it had only one fighting compartment, there was a steel observation cuppola and a periscope though.
I could not find out the exact layout as the interior of the bunker was closed off and the exterior walls, with the firing ports, was invisible and inaccessible, due to the dense undergrowth and the triple concertina wire entanglement surrounding the bunkers.

Kazemat III nowadays lies in between the two double lanes of the road crossing the Afsluitdijk. It has been build over with a control tower for the sliding bridge. The german Abwehr's plan indicated that it was a first aid post combined with an electrical generator post. I have my doubts about the double use though, maybe there was a small generator for emergency use, but I don't think that combining an first aid post with a big diesel engine generator would make much sense. The more so there are some other sources that state that there is one big generator bunker on Kornwerderzand, and I think that I have identified this bunker, and there my conclusions again don't concur with the Abwehrp-), we will see more of it later.

There's not much to be seen from Kazemat III.

I'd be delighted, especially as this is an area where I often have opportunities to go.

That would be another trip. I know the Netherlands aren't that big but it would be a diagonal across the country to visit both places and I'd rather take my time. Zeeland is on my list though, but so many other places are too.
