    I don't know how he did it,but it looks like he left the trigger guard open.You have to do that to take the rifle apart.Maybe this alters the action somehow.

    Bump firing is not the same thing as full auto. What happens with bump firing is the shooter places the gun on the waist and jerks the trigger as fast as possible. Some folks get really good at it and can get a rate of fire as high as some full autos.

    ... very clever , and a double advantage of wasting all your ammo very quickly ..and of course , not being able to hit anyting smaller than a the side of a football stadium ...

    There is some modifications to semi auto rifles shoot full auto. In EX YU wars some ppl manage to modify Dragunov Sniper to shoot full auto mode,but im not shure how.They used it withouth scope ,as they say rifle got much more accuracy then standard M-70 (AK-47) .

    I find out how they shooted full auto from Dragunov ,it is easy actualy :D

    they just put fire regulator in neutrall position,between locked and unlocked and it was it :D

    thats quite impressive. Something in band of brothers said something about how one of the members modified his garand. cant remember more then that.

    I think it was Popeye Wyn (sp?) who modified Garands, and I remember in the book that it stated That Richard Winters also kept a modified Garand throughout his service.
