I often (at work) can't log in since the server cant be reached. Things are better at home with about 95% success in logging in.

I'm with Mussolini. Other than a glitch with some of the graphics, I have no problems with the site since the new server.

No problems here, either, since the new server went up.

    Is that so?

I guess if there was "spyware" on this site, I should be one of the first to know, considering how regularly I visit the site. Perhaps the problem lies with your own "not all that new" PC?

I strongly invite you to post screen shots of these spybots you have "picked up on the site." Furthermore, I ask that you send reports to Norton, McAfee, AVG, Sophos, Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware or any other antivirus or anti-spyware company before you drop an accusation like this in this forum.

Same here. The computer police must have some input with it.

Not had any problems since the new server went online ... until a couple of days ago. Logged on okay, all was well, then mid-post I hit the 'preview post' button and got kicked off the site ??? Got a page saying: "Data Base Encryption Error!" Never seen it before or since ???

I also have that problem on some days. On most days, though, everything's fine.

Vanir, its not wise of you to call a Admin (which is above a Moderator) 'immature' nor is it wise to claim that there is Spyware on these forums. I have been on these forums since their very incarnation (thats 9+ years) and have not once picked up spyware or malware of any sort from these forums. I suggest you update whatever anti-virus software you have and not visit other sites that are not as secure as this on. You would be the first and only person to claim such spyware comes from the WW2F.com

I would like to know if there is anyway that I can expand the number of postings of a thread from 25 postings to maybe 40 or 50 postings per page?

Or is this something that the web server has defaulted as a number?

It's hard coded at 25, most forums have just 10 per page. It cannot be edited. Each page is actually linked with the thread title and page number, so if I have 100 posts per page and you have just 25, then when copy a url and paste it somewhere else, then we will be looking at different pages, even though we click the same url.

After two years on the forum you don't even notice that there is 25 posting on the page, you just kinda get used to it.

Yeah. Other sites I have been on had more than 25 and it was just a pain to scroll especially when people post alot.
