German binoculars

    These binos have been handed down the family from my grandad, i know very little about them but he helped liberate bergen belsen concentration camp if that helps at all. any info will be very helpful:D

    very early wonder where your Grandad picked them up. pre-WW 2 as they do not look at all like military issue but civilian, see no marking up by the reticules or anywhere on the Glasses unless you can take closer viewed pics.

    i cant see any markings on them either. they look like brass and leather but the little knob you focus them with feels very plasticy and doesnt show the same wear as the brass. its quite interesting do you know where i could get anymore info? thanks

    oh and by the way the story i was always told was they would do deals with the prisoners of war and give them cigarettes for items, he also got a bayonet and camera. i do think he obtained it from a pow but i doubt it was in the way he said, i was very young when he told me.
