German Officers Parade Dress Sabre

    This sabre was fairly typical of the many designs available from a wide variety of makers. The eagle cross-guard and the lion's head pommel (here with red glass "ruby" eyes) are a feature of this model made by the respected Solingen firm of Eikhorn, whose name and squirrel trademark it bears.
