There are some great pictures of this weapon on Gunbroker for anyone who has not seen one up close or wants to see one. They were called Last Ditch firearms. Very interesting firearms, sometimes called the Peoples Rifle. Made in the latter,waning days of WW2 when the Germans were in fear of being over-run by the Russian military.
Ive seen some ""Last Ditch"" rifles fr sale at Gunshows in the past. Frankly, I don't understand why someone would purchase those pieces-of-crap-and-especially-at-those-high-prices/ Also, this si especially when you will find a much better Mauser rifle for sale at the same show for a cheaper price.
