Go to www.scotsman.com-today's newspaper for October 27 2011 to read a fascinating story-complete with photograph of Steve McQuuen and his motorbike- for the story about five modern Scottish Royal Air Force aircew members who have just dug and completed a tunnel on the site of/ in Stalag Luft 111 now located in Poland watched by original POW'S who were in the camp during the Great Escape. The five modern RAF men used original tools bsed on what the escapers used and worked in 37 degree heat in their new tunnel similar to the conditions endured by the original escapers.
