Hi all, hope you are all well. Thought I should say hello, I have always been interested in military history, recently started researching my great grandfathers WW1 service history and to my surprise lots of documents and records survived. I am starting to research my grandads WW2 service records. Little is known about his service as when he returned home he was a different man, quiet and reserved. He wrote letters to a family in Holland and received letters and gifts in return, I presume he must have been based there at some stage. All we have of his records is his release book. Hoping to find the it more over the next few months. Regards Chris
