Google Earth has WWII era imagery of Warsaw

    I'm new here. Google Earth has imagery from Warsaw (and several other European cities) from world war II. I posted some placemarks over on the Google Earth forums, but there's not much interest over there.

    I made an animation of a small portion of the Warsaw imagery (two photos from December 1935 and March 1945) shown below. This shows a bridge knocked out and two temporary bridges built across the river. You can also see some of the devastation (burn out and removed buildings) on the SW side of the river.

    BY all means, Ron, post as many of these animations as you have. Excellent to see the before and after shots together.

    I read somewhere that Google Earth now has quite a few of these photos on their historical timebar. Would love to see some more from the European side of things.
