I'm a relatively new member who is particularly interested in the return of the war dead following the war. My grandfather was a gunner aboard a B-24 that was shot down over Vienna in 1944, and his body was returned to the U.S. in 1949. Does anyone know how many people belong to the WWIIForums? Seems like a great resource for obtaining and sharing information.
Hi Kim. Glad to have you. It's impossible to give you a count of people since many are in and out. You're correct that this is a great resource. Just ask a question and it will be answered by some of our experts.
Welcome Kim. Like Lou said we have alot of people coming and going, many making a post or two, but otherwise I would say a good chance to get info on any military question. The first 100,000 replies was a tough one but these days we´re close to a million soon ( hope so ), and many thanx to Otto for keeping this site updated so often and many members cleaning the site so the discussions are not getting ugly. Thank you, you know who you are!
