Happy holidays, I am writing to ask for support and identifying part of my father’s campaign history. We have identified a great number of his metals and pins, however we are having difficulty identifying this particular one. I would appreciate any support in helping us identify what this represents. Thank you in advance for all your help.

Thank you very much for your response! I have a follow-up question, if he has the streamer, would there have been the medal to go along with it? Or did soldiers just get the streamers in some cases? We don’t seem to have a medal, so I was curious.

Thanks again for your quick response.

It is a campaign ribbon not a streamer. Yes there was a medal associated with it, but things get lost over the years.

Glad to be of assistance to you. You can buy a replacement medal on Amazon. You can buy almost anything on Amazon for that matter. Keep up posted in what you're doing with you Dad's WW2 memorabilia.
