Help with era of Polish Navy Cap

    Good afternoon! Was wondering if anyone could place the era of the cap. I'm yet to find one like it. Any help would be greatly appreciated; it was an estate find.

    The design of that cap is basically timeless, they always looked like that.
    But the eagle is a "communist", from the period of the communist regime (1944-1989).
    Of course, it's extremely unlikely it's from 1944 or 1945.
