I'm trying to find the above on 1939 register but he seems to have joined up at the start of the war underage (17). So it's likely he is training but I don't know what regiment it was only that he was in Burma and survived. He's born in London in 1921 but Scottish by heritage, his father served in the King's Own Scottish Borders in WW1. Can anyone help please or point me in the right direction? I've tried Forces war records and Fold3. Thx Helen

Hi Helen and welcome. I can't help you, but if you've not already done so, I recommend that you register at our sister site www.ww2talk.com. They have a more Commonwealth bent and might be quicker with answers.
